Visitors don't come to Anguilla for exciting nightlife or round-the-clock entertainment, but there are still plenty of activities to keep you more than happy and occupied on Anguilla.

There are more than 30 beaches to explore, not counting those on the offshore cays and islands. There are no clothing-optional beaches on Anguilla. In fact, topless bathing is also illegal. Scuba Diving is a very popular activity for visitors to Anguilla. Anguilla's turquoise waters boast seven marine parks: Dog Island, Prickley Pear, Seal Island Reef System, Little Bay, Sandy Island, Shoal Bay Harbour Reef System and Stoney Bay Marine Park. Water temperatures are in the upper 70ºs to lower 80ºs. Optimum diving conditions are in the summer months when visibility is at its highest and there are little or no ground seas.

You will not find sprawling department stores for shopping in Anguilla. What you will find are small shops and boutiques, offering local paintings and crafts, spices, tropical clothing, island music, antiques, curios and other souvenirs. For grocery shopping, visitors will find the supermarkets in Anguilla are well stocked and offering a staggering array of exotic and distinguished speciality foods for the good life.
